I must be doing more than I remember
Back in '04 or '05 my friend Dezi Ramierez invited me to do a media collab with some friends of his called Sound + Picture (http://www.blackleaderfilms.com). His wife Nelly Ramierez was in charge of the event.
I can honestly say I don't remember the particulars. HOWEVER, shout out to Sai Selvarajan
for the crate diggin'. I'll have to see what else I can get in the mix.

Whatever Happened to Craig Mack?
I often wonder what happened to Craig MAck. His first album was pretty nice. I heard the second one wasn't though. Point is how you gonna drop such a dope single like that with Flipmode and Def Jam and be a one hit wonder? Anyway...

Speaking of Twitter...
I can easily say I'm not a Twitter fanatic...yet. However this is an interesting article on how Twitter can effect global communication. Peep it.

This is getting closer to people snipping you while eating cereal.
Don't get me wrong, I think the innovation and development is really intriguing. I'm just worried about people getting info on you like Wikipedia.

Comics Meet Real Life
COMICS MEET REAL LIFE
So I'm gonna start putting together comic things as the relate to real life. Movies, situations, posters, porno...whatever. To start off I'm gonna hit you with this. Based on a graphic novel written by Greg Rucka, this talks about a murder in the antarctic during that night season, or however they call it. It won an Eisner
but I never read it. I can honestly say I was never compelled to.
But hey things change. Check it.

CRATE DIGGIN'
Ok so I can keep things flowing with my work, I'm going to start getting old and new art together. It's only right. Ok so back in my "gotta make it so the people must like it" days I was an avid fan of Project A-KON in Dallas. This is anime convention where kids dress up as the most obscure characters in skimpy out fits while dirty 40 year old men take their picture for "records". Anyway they had an art contest for T-Shirts and over all art. I made the piece below. Apparently my entry wasn't anime enough because the final design was of a not well drawn anime kid in a fluffy dress...it was probably for the best. The pencils for this are in my book: OFF THE FLOOR: BUY HERE!!

Ok so I go to this site Slashfilm.com to get the updates on movies and things of that nature. Here are a few comic book movie happening these days. I'm thinkin' pretty soon this genre of movie is gonna slow down pretty quick. Until then:
Ok I got this off of the site and apparently it's the first shot of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash for Iron Man 2. Seeing as I've never been an Iron Man fan, except for the movie, I don't know how this character is supposed to look. Right now he looks like something out of Road Warrior. For Details click here.
Also Mark Millar and Brian K. Vaugn are fast tracking Kick Ass 2 due to potential kid growth spurt of the characters. It's nice how we have juveniles slashing bad guys in half these days. If you don't get where I'm coming from, go to your local comic store and get a copy. It's for the Kids! Click here for more.

Let's try this again.
This is my new blog. Last one got started but abandoned.
This one not so much because the name is nifty. At any rate, this will be my set up for a bit until things come into place.
Above is a sketch of MF Doom for my friend Samax's Ghettomanga contest
http://www.ghettomanga.com/
I'll be showing the process as it develops
Peace.
